Default steering issue

Hi!
I have a 99 dodge ram 1500 4x4 sport with the 5.9 gas engine.
Im having problems with the steering cause it wont straighten out after Ive turned all the way over, either left or right. The truck just keep going in circles. Tried to put on max caster, got a tiny little tiny bit better, but still wont straighten up, just stays at all the way over. What could be causing this?
Thanks
Torbjorn

lash preload on the steering box is set probably too high/low
adjust your steering box some and see what happens

wouldnt hurt to check ur PS fluid too

Just tightened the steering box, but had the same problem before I did that, but gess I could give it a try to loosen it.
What kinda ps fluid do you recommend putting on? and how much do I need?
One more thing, max caster means making the lower control arm as long as possible, right?

Steering stabilizer could be sticking/ bad/ etc. Might be holding it in place....

your steering box is probably too tight. loosen it up to where you have a little play in the steering wheel, see it that helps its straighten. then tighten the steering back up just enough to remove most of the play.

I will try to pull of my steering stabilizer and to loosen the steering box, although I dont believe the steering box is causing this since it didnt straighten up before I thightened the steering either, it just had alot more play on it. Could my toe-in have anything to do with self straightening?

Max caster is pulling the lower control arms all the way BACK.

You sure about that? I just talked to the dodge dealer here in Norway, and they said max positive caster is making the lower control arm as long as possible...

Thanks, thats what I tought. Gess I'll just get to a shop and get an alignment, only problem is that an alignment here in No(r)way costs about 2-300 bucks! How much toe in should the truck have?
