The acrylic headlight lenses on my 1997 Ram have "fogged" up to where I can barely tell I have my lights on. By fogged up I don't really mean with water vapor bu the plastic/acrylic lens isn't clear anymore. Do I have to replace the whole light assembly?
No you can buy a headlight cleaning kit that works really good. There is two different brands you can get, one of them is made by WYNN'S and any dealer or shop that does WYNN'S flushes should be able to get it.
Wet sand them w/2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper w/a little dishwashing soap in the water to lube it, then use the polish.I did mine last week and man what a difference.
You can clean them as stated, or you can buy replacements. Mine are fogged a bit too. I have been eyeing up some projectors on eBay lately..... just trying to justify the cost.

thats a cheap way as well, thats how i did my g/f's fathers cadillac lenses
my wifes old cherokee did that and i did the 2000grit and polish route. worked great! however, any route you take will only last a couple years...then you have to do it again.
