its not that critical, just as long as they are tight, go to the 110-120 mark, then just tighten till the cotter pin lines up

1500 LD 185ft lbs
2500 HD 280ft lbs
per the service manual.page 2-8
EDIT ^^^^^^^^^^^theses are 2WD specs

4WD

122ft lbs on the hub to steering knuckle bolts
Per the service manual page 2-15

Did they really make 2wd 2500's.....LOL

2001 service manual in the merry christmas thread also my haynes #s are similar
https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...tmas-guys.html
I should add the dana 60s from 2000-2002 were different than other years but you shouldn't have to worry about that.
Also those #s are for sealed hubs on the 2wd not the old cup and cone bearings used before Cause that torque would probably prevent them from turning....LOL

well, like i said, it is a 99 dana 60.... and i didnt look a this 2001 service manual.. still loading,,, but i want to make sure.... cause again. these bearings are 280 bucks a pop... i dont want to be eattin like candy here... and this truck is about to make a venture to NC from NY and an over tightened bearing will be bad news... see my issues of wanting to be presice? ( again, cant spell but oh well

Like I said the haynes #s are very similar and it's for the 94-01.
I checked them both. just to find clarification.
But I was hoping for some more input from others.
Double check with the dealer
Don't sweat the price mine are closer to $400 now that there is pricey...LOL
