Default tuner vs death sticker question

I'm not sure how to explain this but I was wondering if the power gain you get with the tuners is going to erase the death sticker tune( setting to factory tune) and give me the power gain? Or just give me the power gain with the death sticker tune?

Depending on which tuner, it will over ride the death flash and the tuner will add power on top of that.

bye bye death flash.. hello new tuner tune.. it's gone, and replaced with whatever tune you install..

it's not like a windows update, which adds or alters something already existing on your PCM, it's more like upgrading operating systems from like a Vista or XP to Windows 7..

the programmer WILL retain the old program though, and you will retain the ability to reload it if you so desire.. you won't, though..

I would call Sean at hemifevertuning.com. He can answer any questions about what tuning can and will do.

Any of the good ones. Hypertech (meh), Superchips, SCT. SCT is better for our trucks, and cheaper to, due to Sean's (hemifever) special pricing. Hemifever@aol.com, he can tell you anything you want to know.
