V6 vs Magnum V6

Default V6 vs Magnum V6

Ok, new to the Dakota world, have had another MOPAR in the past.
What is the difference between the 3.7L V6 and the Magnum V6??

As far as I know the only options for engines on the 2005-present Dakotas is

3.7
4.7 magnum
4.7 high output

I don't believe it is just a truck thing. I had a 4 banger in my last dakota and it was considered "magnum" but was just the bigger one at 2.5L instead of the smaller 4 banger at the time

You're probably thinking of the 3.9l LA series Magnum V6 which made 175hp in the 2nd gen Daks. The Powertech 3.7l makes 210hp in our trucks, I imagine it will be replaced with the new Phoenix V6 in the future.
