Also the small contact between the Scotchlock and the wire strands causes a higher amount of resistance than the method I use, that in turn will cause heat, that in turn will cause a build up of corrosion, even when in a dry environment, due to the heat build up.
Scotchlocks should be removed from the market, that they cause more problems than they solve.
