I'll have to double check. Just seems like a whole lot of patina going on, for example, the rear doors, the nuts for the bottom hinges have a coating of surface rust, but the nuts for the top hinge are clean and painted.....so strange...maybe this truck spent a few years near the coast....

 

I think "Patina" is a B.S. way of saying we are to lazy to do it right the first time.

My truck has rust in weird spots all over. A lot is due to the ridiculous amount of salt they put down. A lot to do with lazy finishing techniques from the factory.
