I didnt know they had a 5.7l in 1996. Were they making a mistake on the show; and they meant to say 5.9l?

They didnt they made a mistake the only v8 motors offered in 1994-2001ish were the 5.2(318) and the 5.9(360).

Haha, I thought so. All I know is that thing took a beating before actually dying. And Im guessing it was only 2x4 since it got stuck twice and I only saw the rear wheels spinning. Not bad at all, IMO.

If so thats a bad a$$ 2wd. It was a good looking truck untill they ran into it.

Yeah, it was either 2x4 or it didnt have a limited slip which is a possibility. I didnt watch too close, but I never saw a front wheel spinning.

It's possible it's a 4x4 that grenaded it rear differential as Chrysler OEM differentials love to brake the "C" clip.

yea.. well if he never ran it so fast and hard into the water he wouldnt have sucked in that much. i got a body with same looking truck and had a 318 before we swaped a 360 in but he would suck in water all we did was pop out is spark plugs and let the water drain and then turn it over a couple times to get it all out pop them back in and then back to muddin lol

That was an awesome episode. I think that those guys are more biased towards GM, or atleast for now.

Did anyone see the one about the ford velociraptor svt? One of the guys got a ticket in that just crusin in a small town.
