I think these unibody trucks must need that sloped rear cab section for rigitity or something because both the Honda Ridgeline and whatever that unibody Chev is, have that.

If they really have to build it they should at least give it a different name. It doesn't look anything like a Dakota to me.

Would have been better to call it the ram 50 than dakota.

My next truck will be a Ram if they offer this...

I am not sure who in there right mind would buy one of these.

Ida know.. get rid of the "rake" look, extend the bed enough to haul a motorcycle,
and drop a nice V8 under the hood...

...I'd pro'ly hit it..

Considering they are planning to reduce the towing capability I doubt a nice V8 is going to happen. A diesel would be an interesting compromise though.

I'd like ta hit it too I guess we'll have to see one in the metal to be able to form a true opinion but I'm just not sold on the unibody truck thing. It will be a Ram for me next time and I kind of like the Gladiator concept if that ever happens:
