I feel that my feelings parallel that of Roy D. Mercer's, " and I don't 'preciate it...NONE! I been lookin' at that about a humpteen million times. I will slap a berett off a frenchies head and then whoop yer a$$ for wearin' a funny hat!"

They may as well kill the Dakota off for a few years. This reminds me of what they did to the Charger nameplate in the late 70's and 80's.

Package that look in the size of the current dakota and it would be nice. Straighten the back of the cab, lengthen the bed, raise it a little, and add a v-8 and all would be good. I have had my doubts about unibody suv's and trucks but it looks like they are here to stay. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee is unibody and "trail rated."The new Explorer is unibody also. I think the majority would never notice the difference, or wheel hard enough to need body on frame.

I thought all the XJ (classic cherokees) unibody and All the Grand Cherokees (zj, wj, etc) have always been unibody design. (xj pickup excluded)

It actually slipped my mind that the XJ's were unibody. Those have been hard cored off roaded. And yeah the ZJ's & WJ's have always been unibody... I knew that but it also slipped my mind

Well, it may work for Fiat in europe, but this is America. Land of gas guzzling trucks. And not to mention the price tag for this new concept. They B****ed about the dakota costing too much. what do they think this is gonna run. I'm gonna assume around the same.

Idiots...
