That is what I use.

Omni clear coat
Black pigment paint
Clear coat hardener

Nightshades is actually a purple tint spray, not black. That is why your headlights come out pink/purple color. The Rustoleum tint spray is black but you need an adhesion promoter for a good coat or it will start to run if you put on too much at once. Let your coats dry for a couple hours before clear coating or the clear will bubble up your tint.
