Sweet! Me and my dad did the same things for a while, ill have to post some pics of them.

If you are talkin about a Springfield Armory XD or XDM, i have shot a xdm .40 S&W right next to a Glock, and my buddy who just purchased the glock, wished that he had not got the glock and got the XDM. The xdm was a loaner, it is a great gun. for the same price as an glock, the xdm has all of the bells and whistles a gun can get. it feels great in the hands, trigger is smooth, and i could actually hit the target with it.

I own a XD(m) in .40 S&W flavor as well as a Glock 23. Both are excellent weapons. I tend to shoot the Springfield a little more accurately, but it's a full size whereas the G23 is a compact. For the same reason, the Springfield is a little more comfortable to shoot.
The Springfield can be picky when it comes to ammo and I've found it doesn't really like any of the cheap european stuff, including the Rem yellow box and Win white box stuff which is imported.
The Glock, by comparison, has NEVER had a FTF no matter how cheap of an ammo I've used.

Matter of fact, this G17 (9mm) continued to shoot at the PD range despite having 1500+ rounds of really crummy Rem UMC ammo going thru it:

I also have an Stoeger Uplander Side by Side 12 gauge with 15.5 inch barrels (yes it is illegal to own in NY) chambered to shoot 3 1/2 inch magnum shells sitting next to my bed waiting for someone to break in. I won't post a picture due to legality issues

When the hell they do that sh*t? Must be a Cuomo or Cuomo Daddy thing!

I grew up in upstate NY and had an Ithica side/side 12 gauge for Pheasant hunting and a couple over/unders for Duck & Geese seasons. Of course I ain't been a resident of the great state of NY since I bucked to Georgia for college in the late '80s...

Oh ok, I missed the 15.5" barrel part. Yeah, that was the law when I was there too...

well i Didn't do half bad at the USPSA meet yesterday. while i was there i got to get behind a XD(M) as well as a Glock 17. The Glock just feels funny and i seem to shoot the XD(M) a little better. I have to say that the Sig 228 which i competed with was a rather nice. But Sigs run up to 1k and id rather spend that on a new front bumper for my truck and a few other goodies... another story another time.

I know this is not a S&W, or a Taurus, but I sure havwe a lot of fun with this.
A 3" x 10', 50 gallon air cannon. It shoots an orange about 200 yards.

I cant find a police department that will let me aim it toward them to find out its velocity.

you can thank your current admninistration for that and ammo going thru the roof too. They are taxing the sh*t out of it!

Also, in an effort to stop ammo manufacturers from being able to re-use spent brass, our government is selling all our military spent brass to China at a LOSS.

I personally know the owner of one of the larger "once fired brass" ammo manufacturing facilities in Georgia who says he just about can't get brass anymore. Has been forced to downsize his business and lay off 2/3 of his workforce, despite the fact ammo sells for an all time high and it's constantly in shortage!

When he can get it, it's been cut in half by the govt so they have to pay for it to be melted down and re-cast which costs more than buying new brass...
