Default Few new things for my truck...Hood louvers, Ram 17" wheels w/tires

Just showing off some pics of new goodies,...I finally figured out the way of posting good pics. Hoodlouvers.com's products are great! I had these profesionally installed...kinda pricey but its worth it. Also I didnt want to run down my tsl's anymore...I got lucky and found a guy getting rid of his stock rim and tire package from his ram. fit perfect! although its deffenatly not as entertaining as the tsl's...

yea man, save those for muddin'

I like those louvers, very unique. Do the rivets go al the way through, and are they functional? the wheels actually look pretty sharp.

So what type of place installs the louvers?

thanks man, yeah the hood louvers are functional. A local suspension/fab shop put them in. I wish I did. it...I am more than capable but I dont have the space or tools at the moment. I had them take out the under-hood liner as well. I think the wheels look sharp to! what a difference in ride compared to tsl's...i can get speed on the highway again. And got back some mpg's...we all loves those right now

Yeah, the Ram wheels are available all the time and fit our Dakotas perfectly. It's an easy way to change the look of the Dak. 2 sets of Ram wheels here, 20's & 17's. And the hood louvers came out really good, they did a great job.

Dakotaff, Im diggin your wheels as well. I had thought about getting 20's, but I didnt know what the ride quality would be like. Do you feel everything in the road?

lol! no rice over here....I dont want to buy anything for the truck unless its going to benefit it. those hood louvers are the standard, and not the "hi-flow" ones. the standard ones lower under hood temps of about 30 degrees. heres another pic...

I just put the 20's back on yesterday, put the 17's away until next winter. I drove around all day today and there's not that much of a difference. I feel more of the road and bumps than the 17's, but there's a lot of cushion with those 17's. With the 20's, I'm rolling with 5.6 sidewall height, so it's more sidewall than a lot of car tires, including mine. The best thing about swapping wheels with the seasons, it feels like I got new wheels again. I keep looking at them, it really changes the look of my truck. These tires look so big, especially from the front.

With the 20's, the Ram does have larger tires that will not fit on our Dakotas. But 265/70/17 is a stock sized Ram tire that will fit, which I run on my winter set.

Those louvers are sexy! I was expecting a 3m stick-on louver, but those things are downright awesome! I need a pair for my truck.
