uh-oh, another victim?
on a job site today & noticed a purple/dark burgundy dak like ours parked nearby.
truck had those new bfg rugged terrains,so i struck up a conversation on tires,dakotas ,etc
turns out he's only had the truck 2 weeks,says tranny feels rough, already had to replace a caliper & the front end feels funny now.....
so i mentioned the forum...figured he might need some how to's w/ the way his luck is going after 2 weeks, poor guy... he may just be getting started

Lol, jkeaton ill try.
It's a Sharp truck w/ that color,but Im in a differnt section on the job today & I haven't seen it yet....hope its not a bad sign.
Not sure on the mileage, but fwiw, its a v6 4 wd.maybe ill see the dude & can do some recon later.

haha, stalker! sometimes I feel like creepin up on people and leaving a card on their window, or subliminally whisper "dodgeforum.com, resistance is futile!" in their ear if i get close...

Lol,does seem kinda stalker/ creepy. But today I was pulling cable thru the same room this guy was working in so we talked while working ( feels less creepy that way )
Anyways my old guy ears misunderstood . He's had the truck since January.the caliper seized up 2 weeks ago.
Mileage is a little over 70000.
The tranny just does that hard downshift sometimes.
But he said he hit a pot hole & ever since he's got noises up front.
He asked if these trucks have ball joint / front end issues.... I felt like yoda saying " yes young friend,problems have they" & forum check it out you should" lol....
don't know if he will,but his eyes lit up when I told him about how good the night runner headlights would look on that purple, & how here was the go to for the how to ....
