Default Ditched the cap, new pics

So, my truck came with the cap when i bought it and at first it was pretty handy. But after a while i was sick of my truck not looking like a truck so i ditched the cap and i think it looks a lot better. I also threw in a black diamond plated tool box. Some other new things since i last posted are the nightrunner headlights and i also plastidipped the grille. I'm not sure if i wanna also plastidip the front and rear bumpers. Next up is gunna be the gutter guard grill and then possibly lights either mounted on a bull bar or behind the grille. Lastly i wanna do some sort of lift, gotta research it a little more. i'll do some before and after

No no no, unless you'd like to scratch or chip the paint. It's easiest to debadge with fishing line, the higher the pound test, the less likely you'll snap the line during the process.
  1. You need to hold the line on both sides of the 'badge', and kind of saw the emblems off with the fishing line.
  2. After you get them off, remove the excess glue (left behind from the emblem) with goo gone or something similar.
  3. Wax the area where you just removed the pieces, because you've just stripped the wax from that area.
  4. Enjoy the debadged look.
The glue is easier to remove when it's warm, so it's really easier to do this in the summer months. But you can also heat up the area before with a hair dryer or heat gun, but not too much heat, you don't want to damage the paint at all.
