Question Which step bars should I get? (pics)

I definitely want step bars so that my kids can climb in easier.

Ive got a quad cab slt, also ordering a bull bar with some lights for it...

my worry is I do not want the bars to stick out too far past the tires, not at all if possible...

which one of these 2 will help me accomplish that?

I like the style of the second over the first one. Neither set should stick out past the tires.

Heres the deal.

If I get the rounded ones, I can get PIAA Ion driving lights for the grill...
If I get the straight ones I can only afford KC HiLites on the front.

Why don't you save your cash and get what you really want when you have the money, gratification doesn't need to be immediate. If you buy something you aren't really happy with, it'll bug you everytime you see it.

Round ones, Ive had both sets, and the Straight ones were flimsy and flexed alot.
I paid under $200 for all 3 of the Sets ive had, 2 sets like Round ones and one of the straight. Both round sets were great, and held ALOT better then the Straight.

I've got the ones similar to the first ones. I dont use em because I'm tall enough to get right in. And they dont stick out.
