Default New Addition to our Dodge Family

Well our driveway is getting more congested with Dodge products. My son just picked up a 2010 Challenger SRT8 (6.1) and it's a real rocket. It came with only 14,000 Kilometers on it - it's essentially a new car for $25K less than you'd pay for a new one.

Here are a couple of pictures of what it looks like - this isn't it though, I'll take some tomorrow if it stops raining:

I've been wanting one of those since they announced the re-release. Just so dog gone expensive.

Did it come with a shoe-horn so you can check the oil? Boy that 6.1 is crammed in there!

Nice lookin' piece of machinery!

There isn't much room from the top, even the battery is in the trunk. A lot of the stuff you need normal access to is more easily accessed from underneath, but then you need a hoist. The "killer" with this engine is the compression ratio, hi-test gas is recommended for normal operation, but it sure takes off like greased lightning with very little prompting & without traction control, the rubber wouldn't last long.

Very nice car. I have an uncle who has one of those in the same colors, but with the 5.7L engine. He wanted the MDS for long road trips. The 5.7L variant is quick, I bet that 6.1 is fantastic.
