Was at the junkyard all day, I remember seeing it before I went there. I come home last night from there. I go to work, someone goes
"Jon, where is your license plate?"
I go, "What do you mean?"
They say, "It's not there"

So, like anyone, goes outside and sure enough, everything is gone.

Plate and frame. It's not striped or anything. So it didn't fall out, couldn't have.

Reported it at the police station just now.
Suck, because the frame I had on it, I saved up and got it when I didn't have a job and had on my first truck, my 01 quad cab. =/
So, be careful everyone when you go to the junkyards. Also, check your plate screws every once in a while. Make sure they are secure.

It's okay, I'll get a custom plate and get it secured in place.

 

Thats a bummer, I have tamper proof screws holding mine on.

Sorry, definitely look at the tamper proof screws. I have them on all of our vehicles, have for years.

Go to any auto parts store..they have them...if not....online. I have a Virginia Tech (Hokies) vanity plate...Hate or not...someone around here will either steal it or deface it...I have a clear cover with a black frame held on by tamper proof star head screws. I got it at wallyworld. They will have to really work to get it off my car.

 

Odds are that your plate is not far from where you were parked.( bushes, garbage barrel, etc,) They probably only wanted the frame and tossed the plate.

 

I forgot, I also had that tint on it also. The clear black tint.
