Glad your ok and sorry to see your Dakota in so much pain... On another note, I'm glad to see the police drive a Dodge!
Lets see, new headlights if brackets are damaged, they look ok..
New fender, I purchased one on ebay fairly cheap, doors are repairable, would not suggest bondo, but at same token, I could never find a door skin for my passenger rear door, everyone wants me to purchase whole door. Nows your chance to build a custom bumper, so if there's a next time (hopefully not) your bumper takes the hit. Like mentioned above, your suspension and steering are probably all bent or broken. One of the first things I would do though to prevent more damage, is to adjust the hood. Due to front end collision it pushes the hood back, which will rub door when opened, which will take the paint right off. Where the hoods is mounted, just loosen the bolts and move it outward away from windshield.
Well I hope something I mentioned is helpful...
Again, Glad to see your safe!

If the suspension is a sign of frame damage, you might be in over your head depending on you skill level. If its just the arms and perhaps soelme slightly messed up mounting points then you may be alright. How did this happen?

Based on the photos provided, along with no knowledge of the speed of both vehicles at this time, I'm going to predict that the insurance adjustor is going come back with a total loss. Obviously, we would need to know why the front passenger side wheel is ghetto-stuffed in the fender as part of the calculation. The wife works for State Farm, she is also predicting a total.

At this point, my opinion is that you should NOT opt for owner retention if the adjustor totals the truck. Get another used Dak and Hemi-swap the sum-b*tch.

ya thanks guys, i'm fine. the truck really took alot and more than i thought it could. Air bags didnt deploy but the other lady's did. She was in a 07 sonata. little overseas small piece of junk.

*heres my story, im trying to be unbiased but it is from my point of view. There are 5 lanes and im in the middle trying to make a left into fedex. There is some traffic but only on the lane left of me. The vehicle leading the lane stops, so i creep up and take a look at the other lane continuing left. I see nothing for at least 3 or 4 cars away so i make my move, as soon as i get a start and go for my turn i see this sonata flying towards me as i make my turn. I tried to throttle it but she was coming way to fast at me. She hit my front right tire area and pushes me into a fedex truck that was trying to make a left turn out of where i was going in. I mean she had to be blazing fast because i slid right into the fedex truck and couldn't hold the wheel other wise. By the way, the fedex truck was literally barely touched, no paint damage even and it reversed right on out when the medics and police arrived.

-i was charged with failure to yield...which i am on the fence on b/c i would have seen a car. I mean im lifted and can see passed most other vehicles.
*2 of my thoughts are, she was speeding and another is she switched lanes and gunned it as i was going for my turn

i took a look all under and found these:
1)crush tube on passenger side is a little bent
2) arms and knuckles and tie rod of passenger need replacing. steering rack may be damaged as well
3)door only a little scraped and not really pushed in at all
4) bumper and radiator need replacing
5)front right tire and wheel need replacing
6)headlights fine, only light that broke were the front right fog light
7)they wouldnt let me open the hood, but i suspect the relay box and maybe my cone filter are damaged.
8) radiator support bent maybe a few millimeters
9)torn strut

actually all in all i don't believe any of my fluids were leaking. oil and fluids were in tact and all i could see on the ground was oil from my rancho strut and coolant from her damn radiator

also another mention is that they reported my truck for having broken glass windows...which is strange since all mine are intact, looks like it to me

also if it comes down to it, if they total the truck and give me the money for it. I can just buy it back salvage title and all for like 600-700 dollars. then i could do repairs and still have a truck and then buy a 240 sx like i was planning on. This truck was fully paid off by the way...

Strip the whole front end down to the frame. Clean everything up. Dress up engine bay wire tuck, update the engine.

then.....

bag it and lay frame on 20s.

Hey man I hope everything turns out well for you, but I just gotta comment on your comment that the Sonata is a little overseas piece of junk because the airbags deployed. That's silly. She hit you in a frontal collision, which is why her airbags deployed. Your Dakota took the collision in what seems like a glancing side hit that wasn't really close to the passenger compartment. That's why your airbags did not deploy. Also, you are right in that it is a relatively small car, which means that in a collision with a larger vehicle, it will sustain more damage. All I'm saying is that the Sonata did exactly what it was supposed to do...except the hitting you part... I wasn't there so I obviously can't make a judgement on whose fault it was.

Good no one was hurt. Good luck fixing your truck or finding a new truck.

ya i am definitely going to have to do some wiring and dress up work. As for stripping it down i am taking it all out and then going to replace all needed. Then go for a custom bumper like pyro mentioned

thanks for your input, just wanted to mention i never related junk to airbags. I merely just mentioned it was junk. Seeing those little cars get destroyed so easily always reassures me to why i only drive trucks

and as for fix or find, we will just have to see lol
