I know what went wrong... you forgot to lock it into 4wd before going off-road!

Seriously, though, glad you made it out ok. Trucks are replaceable.

I had the forethought to tack on aftermarket coverage since I remade my policy after moving to Missouri, so I got $1012 for wheels and $250 for the tire. But I'm probably just going to throw rubber on some newly refurbished stockers I picked up for $150 last year. Use the rest for a set of slicks and 2 rims so I can shave time off at the track.

I will already be 70lbs lighter just with stock rims lol, plus all that rotating mass.. I'll be able to light 'em up way too easy :-/

But, it will be a while before I can show a repaired truck. Things didn't work out here and I'm heading back to Utah for a while. Bitches be triflin'... lol, that's a story for another forum eh Steve?

Well, she looks pretty from this side of the truck lol.

I haven't done anything to work on it yet, except put tires on stockers so I could move it around. At this point I'm going to do everything except the bodywork myself. Front suspension and steering will be all brand new except for bearings, springs, and rack. I'll replace both axle shafts and bearings in the rear, and get a 4 wheel alignment check. The front bumper will new stuff, including a body colored bumper cover that I always wanted.

I forgot to thank you all for your concern, I appreciate it. lol, sometimes I wish I had 4wd though. I'm lucky, it could have been a lot worse for me and the truck.

That being said, I fixed my picture links in my previous posts so you can go back and see the damage, and after I washed it with the stock wheels.

I've begun work on the truck, it's completely disassembled now and I ordered all the parts I think I'm going to need. They will be here tuesday and I will get started on putting everything back together. Once it's road worthy, I'll get the tail light rigged up and get a 4 wheel alignment check. After that's done, I'll get it to the body shop and cross my fingers for some great work.

Here are some pics of the work:

Ok, truck is back together. Mechanically it's completely buttoned up, just need an alignment and body work at this point. I got the toe adjusted, but waiting for the camber and caster. I've been driving and it feels nice to be in it again. Stock wheels make it quite the sleeper.

The body shop is quoting me a number of things, and if I pay out of pocket some I might get a whole new paint job pretty much. I hope I can swing it, because that would be nice.

So I got the quote for the body work today. It's a lot less than I expected.

The quote is for the entire bed including the tail gate and a refresher on the roll pan, repair and paint the drivers side door, repair and paint the drivers side fender, repair and paint hood and paint the bumper cover.

So basically the only original panels will be the cab, 3 doors, and the front right fender. I'm seriously considering a whole new paint job at this point since the quote came in as low as it did.

So what color guys?! I like the blue, but maybe I can go with something completely different..
