What do you guys think of hood ornaments in general and on a Dakota in particular? Is there one that fits the character of the truck? There are some really cool ones out there but I am not sure if they fit the truck.

The curved and design of the hood doesn't work IMO. I usually think boxy type fronts are better for the hood ornament... unless its like Dakotaff posted!

Yes, there's some mounting and drilling required.

I live and used to work near the Rideau Canal - an historic canal that is now used for pleasure craft - and I used to walk over for lunch and watch the boats lock through. I'd comment that I would like to get a boat, but my wife won't let me get the hood ornament!


(BTW, I think a RamCharger ornament would look great, who's going to TOFTT?)
