Default Dodge Dakota Warrior

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums (but have been reading for a while). I currently have an '05 stock Dakota, but will be making some modifications soon. From online research, I found a Dakota I really like and want to model mine after it. My best guest is that it's a SEMA truck. I tried finding some more information about it here on the forums but came up with nothing. Maybe you guys could help me with figuring out what it has?

Does anyone know where I could find those fender flares and wheels? Or any of the other stuff on the truck?

No idea but it looks sweet. Wish I could get mine that high. Stupid manual tranny and no body lift.

It was a show truck only. Never made it to production. Too bad. Probably would have sold very well. Welcome to the forum.

Like jkeaton said it was a show truck. the flares and bumpers were custom made just for that truck. As for the lift and such, since it was just a show truck, it was most likely not functional. Top get that high in front they most likely faked front CV shafts so that it would still look like a 4WD if somebody looked underneath it.

It is a nice looking truck, but the flares don't look that functional to me. The way they wrap under the bumper like that. They would catch everything when offroading. Interesting concept to split the front bumper to add a winch box though.

yeah, it was SEMA. custom one off flares and front end. Hood scoop is out there, just mold it in. As for the lift, I don't know since mine went the other direction.

Well, it would take way more custom fab to "fake" cv shafts than to drop the diff, lower control arms, and space the struts from the perches. My anticipation is that it has a leveling kit and body lift (most likely). The rock rails would help hide the exposed frame. The wheels and tires "appear" to be ~ 33*12.50s. Dodgetrucker75s 3G dak looked to have the same stance, and his setup was 2" leveling kit and 3" body lift on 33x12.50s. The hood is a factory r/t hood. Its too bad we can't purchase those any more...#@&^*$%@!

Damn, that's too bad that it's just a show truck, although that's what I figured. I've been looking at the Jack My Ride 6" lift, which seems like it would get me to the desired height. Does anyone have experience with that particular kit? It's pretty expensive though...

I'm thinking maybe I could somehow make the flares/bumper myself? I have access to a 3D printer at my university so at the very least I could try to make some prototypes. Does anyone know where I could find a diagram of the bolt patterns/measurements for the flares? I won't have my truck for a while because I'm at school.

Design away. Honestly, to overcome the geometry of the factory front end, custom SAS is the way to go if you want to go high. Jack my ride still uses IFS.

How much would a SAS run vs the 3k-4k JMR lift? I would be doing the install.

Not sure if you still need the info, but this is what that truck has: It's a high-output 4.7L V-8 engine that is topped with a Paxton centrifugal supercharger. A free-flowing Borla dual exhaust. The flares im guessing custom made.
A 2-inch suspension and 3-inch body lift; 33x13.5-20 Mickey Thompson Baja Claw tires; Budnik Arrow wheels; Decoma bumpers; dual Warn winches; articulating tubular spare-tire mount; Jeep Renegade-inspired roof lights fabricated by Decoma.

I have looked EVERYWHERE for that Decoma bumper, and could not find it. It seems like its a company that we cannot buy from, only major auto companies or something. If you find it let me know !! lol
