Default EGR valve issues

I changed my EGR valve back in 11/2015 when I was getting a check eng light for it. Well, it's back... Just wondering if this is a bad valve, or something else. The original valve lasted over 10 years, was kinda expecting similar out of the replacement.

It's a Dorman valve, got it at Advance Auto. It says limited lifetime warranty on their site. I don't like that limited part, going to see what they tell me.

Too many reasons to set an egr code. Could be the valve, could be clogged passages...... or any of a number of other things.

Talked to Advance Auto, I'm told the limited lifetime warranty only covers factory defects. So I say this must be a factory defect since the original EGR lasted 10 years and this one under 2. No, thats a failure from wear they tell me and the warranty doesn't cover wear.

I stopped by today, Manager informed me that their current policy is zero returns on anything electrical such as an EGR valve. Things must be cut throat in the parts biz. Competing with these online co's has driven price down to the bone I'm guessing.
