Do the doors first, then if you have enough left do the back wall and the floor if you're feeling ambitious.

I am still a little uncertian on what to use the heat for. Do i just cut it out and try to cover the entire door stick it on and heat it up to smooth it out with the roller? It didnt come with directions just 4rolls of four square foot pieces. sticky stuff.should I remove the speaker apply the mat then cut out the hole and put the speaker back?

I would post a pic but the batteries are dead in my camera at the moment. I built a box(approx .54cf)that goes between the center console and the rear seat and it fires down. I used an 8" Kicker L5. It will take 300w and sounds pretty darn good. If you want more power and stick with an 8" then use an L7 which will do 450w.

Frenchy- Dude! You have your sub crossed too high. 160 hz is mid bass. You should have your sub handling 80hz and below. 80hz and above needs to be handled by your components. I'm sure it sounds good but it will sound better set up like this. Try it an see what you think.

for the speakers, i made a paper template...put the paper on there, drew the cut out, and put dots where the screws go...then i applied the dynamat as a whole and found the whole for the speaker, cut it out, put the template up and poked holes in the paper where the screws go (doesnt have to go through the dynamat, just make indention, take template off, put the speaker back in place (remember to reconnect wires) and line up screw holes and put em back in

piece of cake sounds much better not a rattle inside or out. I had enough to do all doors and some random spots in the back.
