ok, so they stick out like a sore thumb, i was thinkin, id like a black ones, thats shorter, then i was thinkin i dont want to lose reception, im out in the boonies a lot for camping or bon fire or fishing ect and its nice not to lose reception....well i really started thinking, do they make a power antennea for our trucks?
I've never seen one, but honestly if I were you I would stay away from those. They always end up broken after a few years and then you have this horrendous grinding/dying noise whenever it tries to go up or down, the one in my integra was so bad I cut the wire and listened to cd's just so I didn't have to hear that noise anymore.
not exactly the response i wanted, but id rather find out on here before spending my own money, thanks
No problem. I like the idea behind power antennas but they just don't seem to hold up very well. I remember when I had my car, there were probably 3 different posts a day on the integra forums of people asking how to replace the antenna mast because of that issue.
Nightrunner why don't you just get the same size in black...that way you won't lose reception...it will still be as long as the old one but...it'll match the rest of the truck alot better.
