Muffler sound is based off personal preference.

Each of the sites listed, SHOULD, have a sound clip of the sound.

I found when I started my research that Magnaflow doesn't have a sound clip of the 4.7...only the HEMI or the SRT-10. Your best bet is to get the exhaust mods done at a local shop...saves ya money over a whole kit thru Flowmaster/Magnaflow.

Get the JetChip thru www.summittracing.com.

WOW Thats alot of gas in those trucks but they sure look like fun. I was thinking that I am only going to change the muffler for now, we'll see. It won't be until the end of next year though since I have orders to go overseas this Dec.

Be safe when you go guy. So you can work on that truck when you get back.
And the gasthing,14 mpg. on the HEMI and 10 mpg. in the SRT-10.

I will thank you.

Ok now I have more questions....My auto trans has 3 gears correct? or 4? Is the tow haul button a 4th gear or overdrive. Normal town driving should I drive in D (my colorado I would drive in 3)?

What is the best intake? Airraid, K&N Fipk 63 Series Air charger?

Drive it in D. When you're towing/hauling heavy loads, hit the tow/haul button; it will adjust the gearing to give you maximum power. The transmissions on these trucks are 5 speed autos.

I think, and don't quote me on this part, if you add the factory 6-disc, you'll be okay. If you add an aftermarket one, you might have some issues. I'm actually rather interested in that myself...somewhere down the road I might like to put in a whole new stereo, but I won't if it's going to screw up the bluetooth.

Now you've got me curious. I'm going to do some checking on that.
