Hrmm... agian, how would one find out if different valve covers would be needed? Is there anyway to know?

I'd really like to get the rollers.

I want the ability to go fast..

I really don't drive fast, I'd just love to be able to have the POWA there when if I need it. Ya know...

EDIT:

What does port and polish mean??? I've heard this EVERYWHERE, and just never really took the time to read up on what is involved, and what it does.

port and polish is when you take the heads of and port and polish them to make the air flow better. and it adds more power.

but ya, I would do a cam, roller rockers, port polish at the same time. cause since you will have the motor apart anyways, you may as well do those mods while your in there.

Is there a specific shop I should look into bringing my truck to, to do this port and polish thing? If I do all this, I'll just buy all the parts over the summer, and wait til fall to install them, while in my auto shop.

How do you polish and port the heads?

Can I do it in my auto shop?

you need a die grinder dremel, calipers,/micrometer and loads of time and a good teacher. Whatlevel of autoshop do you have, and how cool is the teacher? I teach auto and If a student asked me to do a P&P I would not let em. Not because I would think its over their head but there is tons of liability involved with that job. It all comes back the teacher when things go wrong and schools generally dont allow that kind of work done. \Unless its a wyotech type of school that specializes in that line of work. Just some imput from the other side of the desk.but It doesn't hurt to ask.
