Default Combining both leveling kits...

Is this possible? Im not sure if there would be all sorts of binding issues oooor if it would squeeze by. I know that the struts would only be taking 2" of punishment because the trailmaster kit (the one I have now) Is the only one that effects them. The Truxxx kit drops the whole assembly.

Probablly cant be done but anyone have any idea? Or, know a way to get a few more inches out of the front end?

you can have both...i just googled it and found a ranger with a 4" suspension lift and a 3" body lift...so its possible

I think he means two leveling kits not a suspention and body. Idk if you could do two different suspention kits together

I think a 2 inch lift is all that is possible with these trucks. Any higher and you need a full suspension lift kit. One with a subframe to lower the front axles and keep the suspension geometry at factory angles or you risk damage and binding problems.

I'm not going to say it wouldn't work because I don't know, but I wouldn't risk it on my truck. I have a feeling you'll be replacing axles and other various parts in a few months if you combine the kits.

I had this same question, but never got off my lazy butt to go and ask it. This answers it though. Think i'll stick to the kit that stiffens the springs a little, give it a bit more hold up under stress.

I think the Truxx is for two wheel drive only use, in this case you would be fine I think. The Truxx aren't recommended for 4wd all though they will bolt up.

I've heard that the truxx kit will bind a 4x all by itself. Instead, I would add a spacer on top of the TM kit and try and cheat it up to 3." look at your CVs, if they are flexed down a lot on level ground, then they are going to wear out faster. The TM kit flexes them down, but it's not that much. I think an additional 3/8" spacer would give you a littlextra, safe lift. just an educated guess. My buddy has a silverado w/ cranked torsion bars(about 3" lift, but factory suspension).His front CVs are flexed pretty good, and he has had no problems for15,000 mi. BTW, he babies his truck.
