Just a little update on this. My truck has been in the shop since Monday afternoon. I will be picking it up today sometime so I will have more of an update then on what exactly they did. In the meantime I have been driving this little jewel of a vehicle!

HAHA!! That's right, a Suzuki XL7. Actually it isn't that bad. It has a lot more pep to it than I thought it would and it is eleventy billion times better than the cruiser! That's it for now, I'll update everyone on my tranny issues when I talk to the dealership.

Ok, I got the truck back. They replaced the O/D solenoidwhich is inside the valve body of the tranny. It seems to be driving good now and I haven't had any studders when it shifts. Hopefully it stays that way but time will tell. I'll get some more miles on it before I declare it as being fixed. Another thing that is nice about them doing this is that they had to drop the pan so I don't have to do a tranny service like I was going to at 10K miles.

had the same exact problem happen the other day, was going the same speed and it dropped into 3rd and stayed in 3rd. I had to get the valve body replaced. it sucked.
