v8 magnum emblem
The 4.7l is a powertech v8. Why did dodge put a "v8 magnum" emblem on the truck? Since dodge changed the magnum v8 to a powertech v8.
I've been wondering about this for a while and it is bugging me.
Thanks

Yeah, red9535 is right....
Although, there were Magnum engines...the old 318/360 engines were considered the Magnum series in the late 80s when they were reworked through their retirement...however, Chrysler just carried over the Magnum name for the 4.7 for familiarly and marketing....the 4.7 seems to be the PowerTech, and is referenced that way in multiple sites/publications.

Man, wikipedia is like the LEAST sourcable site online, you can edit ANY wiki you want...
Hell, I can go there right now, and change it, to say that the Dodge motors are called Flamburg motors...
Don't believe ANYTHING on Wikipedia.
