I spent an hour searching for it one day and came up empty, I don't think they make one for our trucks yet. If there is one I'm interested to know too.

Ok you lost me there, lol. I was only searching for a hand-held programmer, didn't realize you were looking for something that complex.

no one but jet is going to make anything for our trucks.they are going after the big boys. it is easier to sell a programmer for a diesel that will give it an extra 130 hrs power and torque than for a 4.7 and get only 10/15 more hrs power.

but the nice thing about like what I have for the bird is if you want to change injector size or anything at all you can manually change the computers peramaters. I know that it is slim on the chance of geting a handheald form superchips or someone like that but I also was wondering if there was one that was for multiple dodge computers like the eec-tuner board will work for all ford eec iv vehicles, or the j3 chip will work for all ford vehicles with eec iv or v

Maybe they'll make one for the new 4.7's next year. I wish they would make them for our trucks. I looked for ever, but I never did call one of the companies for one....

I think what we are going to see for our trucks is something a lot like what DHP did back in the late 90's...
Flashing programs that allow you to hook up to the computer and flash to your liking...

I personaly would like more tranny options such as a shift kit... at least firmer shifts from 1 to 2.
I'd even settle for it shifting halfway predictably. If I floor it I never know if it's going to actually downshift and go or just lug along for what seems like forever, lol.
