Stone, I'm a little confused which bars you want to make. Are you looking to make the sway bars that go on the suspension underneath or strut bars to go on top in the engine compartment? Sway bars would be harder to make but would probably have a much greater effect.
I want the bar that goes on top of the struts in the front and below in the rear. Does that make sense? I'm not familiar with suspension.

Yeah that makes sense, you're looking for a strut tower bar in the front and a sway bar in the rear. I would recommend doing a little research as to the effects of a strut tower bar on our vehicles before you spend anything. I didn't think they did anything for a ladder frame but I don't know enough to say for sure. I do know it made a difference on my integra but that was unibody.

strut tower bars dont do jack for a full framed vechicle. most all vechicles come with a frt sway bar. www.hellwigproducts.com have one that fits the rear of the 04/05 model daks. but like everything else that they say fits an 05 it might not.

Upgrading the front sway to something beefier certainly wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks for clearing that up. I didn't know that there was a difference.
