Default IAT relocate...again

Superdak i know you can help cuz you have done this,
yah im back with the IAT questions. im THIS close to doing it, but i am confused about one thing. I got a 1/4 pipe plug, but it's metal and looks like a screw, is this the right piece? and why am i drilling a half inch hole if the original hole im plugging is 1/4?? that makes no sense to me. i need to get this done so i can put my jet chip in. i just got the t-stat put in this afternoon so i wanna finish my intake, but im not sure if this is the right plug or hole size? and i got the 16 guage speaker wire so im all set.

i went to my local hardware store and purchased a few diiferent sizes. they were .70 and i founf the correct one. try your local store. they sometimes carrry odd things like this unlike bigger stores. but when i first did my install. i got the wrong plug and just used a pice of duct tape to block hole untill i got the correct one
