anyone have bushwacker fender flares??

 

No not yet. I am looking at them but I was told they dont fit perfectly in most cases and they have been know to start rust under the mounting areas. I find that hard to beleive because they have been around a long time. We need to get a candid responce from owners on any owner forums that will respond. I like the idiea of flares and the 08 Dak TRX will come with them from the factory. Daks always had fender flares until the Gen III.

 

An alternative to those is to have Line-X make your own. Its getting pretty popular here and that is the way that I am going. Unless you are just looking for the fatter fender they offer then go with them. I saw a full size ram getting done just before mine and it looked sweet. He had is match the color of his truck. It will give you a heck of alot more protection than just plastic! Like I said, just another alternative for the same amount of money!

 

I had bushwacker flares on my 2000 silverado and I had no problems with them. I am looking at getting them for my dakota.

 

I purchased fender flares from Bushwacker for my 2005 SLT ext. cab. Don't fit, found out that a lot of on-line auto sites have incorrectly labelled them as a fit for 97 - 05, not true, talked to a rep from Bushwacker, they don't sell a flare for my style of truck, 4 door they do. I am still trying to find a decent set of flares for my truck.

 

I also purchased Bushwacker Flares for my 2005 extended cab, guarenteed fit, WRONG! I had to ship back, purchase price refunded, still, over $70.00 shipping that I had to eat. If ordering over internet do not belive any adds for 2005 extended cab!!! only Quad cab available!!

I wonder if the fender flares on the durocorss raiders work for u guys. I have them on my truck I could take some measurements.

I have the bushwackers on my 05 CC, they fit great. I got them in 07 from a speed shop, not online. The first set I opened right at the shop and checked the fit and they were for a QC. The owner got on the phone with the salesman and it turned out the salesman screwed up the #'s and they sent the right ones out. So they made them in 07. If I remember right, I think it was Frenchy that got them first and they looked good, that's what made me get them. Went under all 4 fenders and took a good look, no rust problems.
