So if the HO has a higher lift or performance cam from the factory I wonder if the factory TB is a true 68mm or coned and would a true 70mm from fastman be the correct choice for the HO.

all the 05 an up tb are the same size and coned ,just by opening up the tb with the h.o. motor will increase the performance some. its not a bad idea to do it. plus all the intakes are the same

Dakota, did you happen to find out whatDans ecu reprogram does and what it costs? I just figured out that the fastman lives right here in Minneapolis which makes getting ecu work done much more appealing. [sm=icon_rock.gif][sm=icon_rock.gif]

Well I studied the pics superdak05 posted and swapping throttle bodies seems like a good idea. I see what you mean about cone shaped.I wasn't planning on doing a lot of engine stuff other than adding headers to the stuff I already have (elec fan, intake, exhaust) but after reading all these posts I think I will do the throttle body and maybe the 180 t stat. I am looking for horsepower and increasing gas mileage which I know the gas mileage part may be tough to do.

You'll want to do the cams at the sametime. The cost for the reprogram is 400 and the cams are like 700 and the installation for the cams, depending on where you go, but it's about an extra 400-500.
