That truck sounds nice but I'd be a lot more impressed if it actually moved in the video, he should have done a burnout at least
Stone as long as your turbo is big enough to generate that much boost I believe it's a simple matter of changing the wastegate spring. Disadvantages from a supercharger is if the super fails you lose a bunch of power, if the wastegate on the turbo sticks it's probably bye bye motor.

superchargers are good off the line but top out, turbos are slow off the line but are good for top end. in the ihra they use both,turbos and superchargers. superchargers do use power to make power, I read somewhere that the 5.7 hemi dont have enough power to turn a top fuel dragsters supercharger at all.

a hemi is far from a top fuel dragster though. I think that the turbo would be perfect for our truck due to the fact that we have plenty of pull off the line but it runs out of breath at the higher rpm's . You can piece together your own turbo setup for peanuts in relation to a charger kit, just my $.02
