I like a nice S/C system... but I am looking a very mild increase. I just want to be able to tow a little more, and it would be nice to have more power 40-70mph... plus I should be at around 1200 bucks with the set up I am piecing together...

I want more of a show off power. It'd be something else if I could spin all four wheels taking off. Probably won't happen, but it'd be fun and cool.

well, I am not sure if I will need a FMIC... remote turbos are supposed to run cooler...
I want to be able to lay of the pedal and stay out of boost... thats the only reason I am running a turbo. I looked long and hard at s/c's... but my grandpa kinda talked me into turbo.

RE: Turbo vs Super
hahaha... well you can run N2O, but its not good for the motor... you need a ton of fuel for N2O...
anyway, whilst looking into fuel management I ran across a bunch of people using the megasquirt setups. they can be adapted to fit any EFI engine, but I am still looking into what it will take to pull off on the DAK... heres a link for some good old fashoned reading...

RE: Turbo vs Super
yeah... I might look into it... it kinda depends on intake temps I guess... My grandpas car doesnt have FMIC but his temps are a little higher than I would like.
Anyways, does KRC flash the ECU for boosted applications? if they do, it would be a much more simple install than trying to install the megasquirt... but I do like the fact that you can tweak on the fly with the MS... all you need is a laptop and the software...
