So I can get the resistor at Radio Shack I know that. But what about a diagram or scematic for people that are gonna fab this up in their garage? What size wire did you use? looks like 18-20?
I think it was 16 or 18 ga, the blue green wire is the one you add it too. I noticed a fuel mileage drop but like frenchy I cant stay off the trottle, never could have.
I just took the female conectors and slid them over the pins, the wire can be any leangth I just made it long enough I can relocate down the road when I do intake mods. the resistor was 4.7k ohms at radio shack pack of 5 for .99
how about this... does it have to be between teh plug and sensor or can it just be on the green wire? I have a bunch of 4.7k resistors in my tool box from remote start installs and door popper installs. (gold, red, violet, yellow. on a tan base)
if it can be on the wire, I was going to use bullet connectors so I could remove it in the winter... if not, then a plan B will have to be developed.
hmm... I might have to do this tomorrow if I get home from work early enough. just need to pick up some solder and wire... should take all of 3 minutes to actually do. Do you have to reset the computer after the MOD?
