homade power wire
ok, here are the pic from my homade power wire, it is just shaved down spade conectors and a resistor
also went to the track tonite, ran 11 runs and all of them where faster than my previous 16.502, now my best is 16.446 at 81.46mph
also weighed the truck, with me in it and my tiedowns and jumper cables just how I ran tonite it is 4650 lbs
hp calculator said 201rwhp and 250 crank?
my mods so far is my custom exaust, power wire and modified stock airbox runing at the track with no filter

RE: homade power wire
Well Drew, it doesn't change anything RPM wise...
I have noticed about a 1.3mpg drop in town, but I can't keep my foot out of it.. haha... it adds quite a bit of power, and when you are set at cruising speed, it changes the firing time, to allow for better fuel consumption... but under a heavy foot, I can see where this would decrease mpgs greatly...
Also, I remember on DT the guy who makes these things, said he recommends the use of higher octane fuel...
So I dunno about that one, I'll have to give it a try next fill up..
