Honestly..... which would you pick... and why?
Ok, so adding to my mods list.....I am thinking about doing one of two things.....
I wanna get either the fastman TB or a Jet Chip Stage II...
My current perf. mods are...
True dual 2.25" exhaust
K&N 63 series intake w/ IAT relocate
"Power wire"
180 degree stat
Electric fan
With that list of mods, what of the two mod choices would you choose, and why?

Reason being you have increased air intake and decreased the restriction on theexhaust.
I would think that to take full advantage of this setup you need to maximize the amount of fuelduring combustion. The TB will increase the amount of fuel delivered and so with the increased air intake and reduced restriction on the exhaust, you will probably see more of gain than with just the chip.
IMO, YMMV
I would go with the TB but since I don't know much about engines my only reason would be that witht the Stage II you're supposed to use premium gas....and well yeah with a new TB you don't have to so... IMO the TB is a cheaper mod, but IDK the difference in performance gains... besides you're probably just going to getboth eventually so it really doesn't matter does it?
you will see more gain wih the chip then tb. since your power wire is doing the trick the chip will act as a piggy back increasing even more air/fuel ratio. you will see longer shifts betwen gears you will see better performnace around town. as for the tb you will see a little loss in performance around town with the stop and go traffic but on the open road it is better then the chip. so it all depends on the driving. around town mostly go with the chip but mostly highway driving the tb. if it is 50/50 then go with the one thats suits your finances for now.
Ahhh..... shifting points won't matter w/ me...
<3 the 6spd manual.... :-)
Well that's the thing.... I can afford both I just only want one right now...
I wanna get a rollpan w/ the rest of the dinero..
