well im putting in led taillights on moms 04 hemi and need some help. I changed all 4 taillight bulbs and need to know what color wires to put the resistors on because it is a harness not going direct to the bulbs like the dakota. so far all 4 are constant on even with the light switch off

 

I cant find one that tells me what color the wires are. found i manual but it didnt have anything about tail lights

 

first off, how are the lights on with the switch off? there should be no power to the tail lights.second, does the led lights give you a web address to goto if you have a problem?

 

I just went out there and they where off so I think it is like in a strobe pack, sence the leds aint useing all the power sence there is no resistor it is running off of the extra and when it runs out turning off

does moms truck have the security feature that when she turns the truck off with the lights on they will stay on for about a minute then shut off?

 

didnt use too just started that. I got off my lazy butt and hooked up the contanuity tester and found the ground and the wire that gave a fast beep beep, and hooked it up to that but no change, its still setting off the lamp out light and fast flashing

 

Honestly your best bet is asking the guys in the Ram forum, I'm sure some of them have put in LED lights and probably know exactly which wire you need.

 

none of them have said the first word and I posted there about 15-20 min before I did here
