Anyone else think our key is just too big?
id rather have them together too...and i didnt hit my key when i turned it off...i have one of those lanyard things on mine and ive accidently pulled that when it gets tangled up with my ipod
I like having the key and remote together, but they could make it smaller. You can get a small key with out remote if you don't have the Sentry alarm system (part # 05174497AA). The best system would be the Mitsubishi "FAST" key which is a small remote you keep in your pocket. When you reach for the door handle it automaticly unlocks. Then you turn the ignition(push button would look cooler) with the remote still in your pocket. No key.

I agree but thats just because that way I could leave my key in the ignition and lock my car and unlock it with the remote on those cold mornings when I got a longdrive and I don't want to freeze my @$$ off in the car on the way to school... which is kinda why I'm really intrigued by the SRT-10 key plus it sounds sweet... just can't find it...

The Ram SRT 10's have push-button start.

it really doesnt bother me....because when u think of it, it'd be more bulky to have the key AND a remote separate...just my opinion though...my dad however is the other way, he says he would like his mitsubishi endeavor key and remote to be separate lol

I don't have that problem. It nicely on the key chain I have. I've been wondering how much longer the battery is going to last on that thing. I've had mine for 2 1/2 years now, and it hasn't gotten very weak.
It's just an awkward size. I have 13 other keys on my ring and the truck key takes up more room than those other 13 because of it's awkward size. It is kind of annoying.
so get a copy of it made at a hardware store and dont use the remote locks
but yea i agree, i like the gen 2 keys that had the remote seperate from the key, thats how (soon to be) my durango is and i wouldnt trade it for a key/remote all in one unit that would bother me, and yea too big to fit in the pocket easily

Its funny that you say that Altair. I had like 6 keys on my key ring and was driving down the road and stopped and the keys extra weight actually turned off my truck!!! I since took off all but the essential keys like house and garage key and hand cuff key!
