haha... All I have to say is this... garageband rules!!!! and depending on the macbook... maybe it was worth it. I want a powerbook but... my truck comes first. we have to have priorities... lol

I bought it for Garageband and photoshop.. :-)

And I'll be buying Leopard when it comes out, as well. :-)

I don't even want to know how much Leopard will cost you, Apple stuff usually isn't cheap. Then again Microsoft stuff isn't either but I just ordered Vista Ultimate from my school for $20 yesterday (and Office 2007 for $15, I love the campus software store!)

Well, the laptops our school gives us... ahem... FOR FREE... are coming with Vista and Office 2007...

So I don't have to pay for it. ;-)

And Jimmy boy says 130 or so dollars for Leopard...

So maybe I can get a better deal through my school...

Yeah yeah yeah... theres only one prob with free school laptops... you can't keep em... the other possible problem is that in alot of cases they aren't the greatest... but then again ... I'm sure just about any school laptop is gonna be better than a freakin' MAC... god I hate MACs... I grew up with MACs in my house for freakin' 16 years and not a single non MAC...and I'm thankful to say that I'm proud to be a PC owner now... :-D... I'll let my parents stick with the stupid MACs...

I'm not a fan of them either but the new macs are a decent machine. You probably grew up on the real crappy "pizzaboxes" as we used to call them at my high school. Ever been in a mac store lately and seen that 32" monitor? That thing is nuts.
