Default more Mods...

Hey i was curious as to what other mods are out ther for our trucks...

I already have a CAI, flowmaster, tonneau cover, chrome billit grill (didn't you know Chrome makes you go FASTER)and was just curious as to what else can be done to our trucks performance wise...
I was reading about an electric fan... whats that about and what benifits do you get out of it.
and whats the deal with throttle body (i don't know much about engines.)
And a different thermostat...?

I want better gas mileage, and performance, I'm gonna get the lift and stuff done in like 8 months when i get back from Iraq.

Flyboy the electric fan removes the mechanical engine driven fan and replaces it with a more efficent means to cool the engine. Easy mod.

You can get a jet chip

The power wire mod is easy to do and VERY effective.

By switching the thermostat to 180 people say the engine likes it more.

power wire is a waste of time. Stick with getting an electric fan and visit www.thefastman.com and get a throttle body from him. These mods are the best. You already have the exhaust and the air intake kit so do the fan and throttle body and your good to go.

No offense pro4x4 but we don't have enough info on the powerwire yet to say either way whether it's worth it or a waste. The guys who have done it certainly seem to think it made a difference.

Thanks Altair....What you should have said is "I" think the powerwire mod is a waste. I believe there are more people that think the powerwire makes a difference than the other way around

similar to a chip... it advances timing, and in doing such, you should run NO LESS THAN midgrade to prevent slight knock...
