more Mods...
Hey i was curious as to what other mods are out ther for our trucks...
I already have a CAI, flowmaster, tonneau cover, chrome billit grill (didn't you know Chrome makes you go FASTER)and was just curious as to what else can be done to our trucks performance wise...
I was reading about an electric fan... whats that about and what benifits do you get out of it.
and whats the deal with throttle body (i don't know much about engines.)
And a different thermostat...?
I want better gas mileage, and performance, I'm gonna get the lift and stuff done in like 8 months when i get back from Iraq.

Flyboy the electric fan removes the mechanical engine driven fan and replaces it with a more efficent means to cool the engine. Easy mod.
You can get a jet chip
The power wire mod is easy to do and VERY effective.
By switching the thermostat to 180 people say the engine likes it more.

power wire is a waste of time. Stick with getting an electric fan and visit www.thefastman.com and get a throttle body from him. These mods are the best. You already have the exhaust and the air intake kit so do the fan and throttle body and your good to go.

Well, I have the "power wire" and I think it makes a difference.
I think that with what you have already done... a throttle body and chip would be a great addition.
The thermostat keeps your engine running cooler, and thus more efficiently.
I am hoping to get to the track soon to get a few runs in... my only basis right now is a couple year old G-tech and estimates... a couple runs might help me get a better idea of numbers.
