I would think that if there is an harness that would convert your factory one to work with your Aftermarket headunit, then you would be good to go. I would contact Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com) or the like to get that question answered correctly however.

cause really all sirius is really a connection into the back of the head unit! so on the new head unit there should be a connection!

A bit of quick searching on it seems that you can use the factory sirius antenna but not the factory tuner. You'd need to buy the sirius tuner for your aftermarket head unit and a cable adaptor to let it plug into the OEM antenna. I'd highly advise calling and talking to crutchfield, you don't have to buy from them (kinda expensive) but they actually know their stuff and are pretty helpful.

Actually I heard lately Crutchfield has come down a bit in their prices... most people I know used them for info and bought online, but since EVERYONE did that they've come down.

Oh, and 07dakota, if you can't use your tuner I'll take it!

I just installed a clarion aftermarket tuner and used my stock antenna, there is no way to use the factory tuner with an aftermarket deck.

you have to buy a tuner to go between the head unit and the antenna, then contact sirius and have them switch your service over to the new tuner
