Still no '08's
yeah well i was a Sales man for dodge and you know nothing "officially" until it is released and your the first to get the information! and honestly if dealers can order them how can they not have literature on them...I know when we ordered cars we already had literature and all the information on them! my new car sales manage told me its coming with 302...hes got the Spec. book for it "so he says".
well, the website spec book said the same thing, as i posted above. several other sources confirm the 302 as well. i guess the 290 was released before things were really finalized.
i'm with ya, stone. i'm going to wait for diesel, too, but probably a year or two into new diesel, though, once my '06 is all paid off and i'm driving it w/out paying on it for awhile.

yeah thats what i'm gonna do...still owe alot on mine...but yeah i'm not gonna be stuck making truck payments for the rest of my life you know! so once the new dakota diesels come out i'm gonna give it 1 or 2 years to see how they do and how reliable they are...pros and cons from owners of them...then drive one see if i like it...but it should be pretty beast if they do come out with a dakota in Diesel!
Especially a Cummins diesel, if that's the route they go. Mine was a very late 2006, so it won't be paid off 'til mid-2011. I'm hoping to not look for another one 'til late 2012 or beyond.
Lebanon, PA. About 15-20 miles east of Harrisburg. And, to stay on topic, I didn't see too many Dakota's at all upon driving by my Dodge dealer yesterday, though I'm seeing more and more on the road. Maybe we'll be one of the earlier ones to get the '08s.
