I read about the same type of system from PCS,it is VERY pricey (i think around $750 plus the harness), but sounds great...

Ya, what is the other option? Are you referring to the Sharadon stage II or III valve body for $325 The feedback on these is awesome. http://sharadon.com/sdparts.htm
Ooo, I like that. Seems like it should be on the list with Fast Man TB. The core charge is outrageous though!

you can either send yours in and have it done or return it after you install the new one. OR you can buy a complete VB on e-bay for about $100 shipped, have it done then you can return to stock if you need to. (I think that's the route I am going to go). They hava a stage III that is not on the website, but is the same price and MUCH firmer shifts. Sounds like fun!

i just got my transgo shift kit from APS.....and no resistor? I think the kit is missing some stuff. the instructions on APS site say there should be 3 NEW large springs and 1 NEW small spring and a resistor.....

my kit (from aps):
Large snap ring
(1) Large Spring
(1) smaller spring
(4) little springs for accumulator
(1) retaining plate with notch
(1) cover plate with washer
and a baggy of o rings and steel rings

ok so i just installed the sk 545rfe kit. biggest waste of time and money dont bother. all you do to the VB is a washer, the plate, l/r valve. thats it. the rest is three or 4 little springs that go in the pump plate. so pretty much you have to disassemble the tranny even though it says you dont. doesnt give a half decent shift. feels the same. i regret not buying the HD kit. but heads up to anyone else

yea but did you get the HD kit? i ordered the SK kit and only one big spring for replacement not firm shifting. i guess the SK kit is only to lengthen the life of the clutches and pump but it didnt do anything for shifting. what would the resistor do if you havent installed the actual. shift kit HD one.
