you need the transgo hd kit. it has a snap ring and a few small springs you wont use if your not pulling the trans #45rfe-hd2

Transgo -45RFEPSK if you are doing it yourself. It has all of the gaskets that you'll need.
Transgo -45RFEHD2 if you're having a trans shop do the work. Comes without the gaskets that a trans shop will have in stock.
It's a three-hour install if you know what you're doing.

The trans doesn't need to be pulled for a shift kit. It goes in thru the pan on the bottom.
The shift kit:
Holds line pressure upto make shifts happen faster
Allow better trans fluid flow while in park
Quicker shiftskeep the heat down. Heatcan burntransmissionfluiddrastically shortening the trans life.

there arent any gaskets with either kit cause our trannys dont have them! you need to make a pan gasket just like the factory did make sure when you buy a new filter you get 2 cause there are 2 to replace one looks like a mini oil filter and one flat rectangl(ish)one

Have any of you put the Transgo kit in ? If so, has it made an improvement in shifting ?
There is going to be another option in a month or so but it's a lot more expensive so before making a choice, I would like to know anyone's actual experience with the Transgo kit.
