1st and 2nd torque management removal?
I just took the truck to one of those touchless RainX carwash places...While driving out i gassed it too much and took the truck sideways....on purpose
. I really hate the torque management or whatever it is called on the 1st and 2nd grear on the Automatics...Is there anyway to remove it? I know with the KTM motorcycles they kinda have the same thing on some of their bikes and the way to bypass it is to trick the PCM into thinking it is above second gear...Is there a way to do it with our trucks?

Ok I may have to figure out how to do this myself...does anyone have a pinout of the pcm...also I was reading about removing the #10 pin from the PCM on the 03 models...what is different about ours?
Cuban are you talking about the trucks idiotic need to upshift during a burnout when it's not even near redline yet and totally kill the burnout? I just drop it down to 1st for fun, disabling the torque management would be much nicer though.
I cant even do a burn out!!!!! unless I have a little dirt on the pavement...or its raining..It you look at dodgetalk and look up disabling tm you can see its for the 4.7 engine...they say it wont work for our transmission...whether that means that it wont work at all...or the tm mod wont work on the newer trans....i dunno....but i would like to figure it out
where were you reading about it on the 03's, i would like to read this, and no i cannot seem to get mine (02 durango) to burnout either, (done it once in the rain on a hill), but my old 98 dak would spin the tires all the time, all i needed was a reason to put the pedal to the floor

Not sure what your problem is but my 2000 club cab with the 4.7 and auto lights up the tires all day long. If I lean into it hard enough it'll keep burning them off through the 2nd gear change. All with 178,000 miles on it too. Stout little drivetrain if you ask me.
