first off its from a ford. guarenteed to crap on you. but i already purchased one

 

why dont our trucks come with electric fans? Its like they were made in the 50s, it makes no sense.

 

My guess would either be manufacturing cost or perhaps they consider the mechanical fan more reliable.

 

for torque purposes. when you switch to the electric you lose some torque. and they are more reliable then the electric.
